Use of calcium silicate board

At present, there are two kinds of calcium silicate boards in China, one is for thermal insulation and the other is for decoration.

Calcium silicate board for thermal insulation is called microporous calcium silicate, which is a new type of white hard thermal insulation material. It has the characteristics of light bulk density, high strength, low thermal conductivity, high temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, cutting and sawing, and is widely used for thermal insulation, fire prevention and sound insulation of equipment, pipelines, walls and roofs in the fields of electric power, metallurgy, petrochemical, construction and ships. The thickness is usually above 30mm, and the density is 200-1000kg/m3.

Decorative calcium silicate board, also known as fiber cement board, was invented by American OCFG company. It is a new type of building board famous for its comprehensive performance, which has been popularized and developed in developed countries since 1970s. Calcium silicate boards in Europe, America, Japan and Australia are the most popular countries in Taiwan Province Province. China successfully developed calcium silicate board in the early 1980s, entered the development stage in the mid-1980s, and was widely used in the late 1990s. The thickness is 4-20mm, and the length and width are mainly 1220*2440mm. At the same time, there are decorative calcium silicate ceilings made of large calcium silicate boards, which are widely used in ceilings because of their many advantages such as fire resistance and settlement resistance.

As a new environmental protection building material, calcium silicate board not only has the functions of traditional gypsum board and mineral wool board, but also has the advantages of superior fire resistance, moisture resistance and long service life. Widely used in ceilings and partitions of industrial and commercial buildings, linings of home decoration, furniture, billboards, ship partitions, shed boards of warehouses, network floors and tunnels and other indoor engineering panels. It is made of high-quality and high-grade cement as matrix material, reinforced by natural fiber, and processed by advanced production technology, pressure and high-temperature steam curing. It is a new type of building and industrial plate with excellent performance. Its products are fireproof, moisture-proof, sound-proof, moth-proof and durable. It is an ideal decorative board for ceilings and partitions.
