Take myself as an example, my industry is social work, which is still in the development stage in China. Many people don't know this profession and what it does.

Every time someone asks me what I do, I say that I am engaged in social work, and others are puzzled. They will say, there is such an industry. This is a civil servant, and the salary in this industry is very high. In fact, there is a misunderstanding about this industry. This industry is not like this.

Social work is actually a profession to help people. It is similar to volunteers, whose main job is to help people solve problems. I was a stranger to this major at first, but I learned it by mistake in college. After studying for four years, I think this major is actually good. It is a career full of positive energy. By learning the knowledge of social workers, I feel that my mentality has also changed. I used to be negative, but after studying social work, my mentality became more positive and sunny, which is the change that social workers brought to me.

As far as my current working condition is concerned, I feel quite good. I meet people who need my help every day. In the process of helping others, I have grown up myself and feel particularly fulfilled. With the development of social work in China, this profession has been understood and recognized by more people.
