Where is Platts wild horse distributed in Xinjiang?

Platts wild horses are distributed in the southern margin of Junggar Basin in Xinjiang, China, Kalamaili Mountain in the east of Junggar Basin and Jimsar County in Xinjiang.

Life habits of Platts wild horses

Wild horses are alert and good at running; Generally, a strong male horse is the leader, and 5-20 horses are formed to camp. Most people go to springs and streams to drink water along a fixed route in the morning and evening. Wandering in groups of three or five or more than ten. Individuals in a group often clean each other's skin after eating, usually standing in opposite directions, and then stick their heads on both sides of their companions and gently wipe each other's nails, shoulders, back and buttocks.
