If I check in at 2 a.m., does it count as one day's stay until 12 noon?

If you check in at 2 a.m., you will be charged for one day until 12 noon.

The regulations in this regard are general regulations in the industry. There is currently no specific legislation on hotel check-out time. However, the general industry regulations are that the check-out time is 12 noon every day. If the guest still does not check out at 12 o'clock, If you check out and do not prompt the front desk to check out, the hotel will default to extending your stay for one day, so check-in from 2 am to 12 noon is also counted as a one-day fee.

The calculation of room rate for one day:

1. Normal hotels use a cycle from 12 o'clock on the same day to 12 o'clock on the next day.

2. In order to attract customers, some hotels use a 24-hour check-in cycle, that is, if you check in at 2 a.m., you can leave before 2 a.m. the next day.

3. Some hotel chains have membership systems, and the check-out time is different according to different levels. The higher the level, the later the check-out will be, and the maximum check-out time can be 2-4 hours.

Normal check-out time:

“The practice of checking out at 12 noon is indeed an international practice. The hotel industry all over the world is following the 12 o’clock check-out standard. Come to the specific operation. ”

Some hotels will provide members with late check-out services, such as late check-out at 14:00.

If the check-out date is delayed until 18:00 the next day, the room rate will be charged as half a day's room rate; after 18:00, the room rate will be charged as one day's room rate.

For specific check-out regulations, please consult the front desk of the hotel where you are staying.

The above does not apply to hourly rooms. Hotels with hourly rooms have separate regulations.
