How to Repair Commercial Gas Stove

Commercial gas stoves are commonly used kitchen equipment, which are widely used in hotels, restaurants, canteens and other places. But in the process of long-term use, there may be some faults and problems, which need to be repaired and maintained. The following are some maintenance methods and skills about commercial gas stoves.

First of all, before starting maintenance, be sure to cut off the power supply of the gas stove or close the gas valve, and use protective gloves and goggles to protect yourself. In addition, it is necessary to prepare appropriate tools and spare parts for replacement.

1. Observe the flame of the cooker. If the flame is irregular, too large or not obvious, it may be caused by the blockage of the gas valve or the incomplete cleaning of the nozzle. At this point, the air valve and nozzle need to be removed, cleaned with alcohol or needle, and then reinstalled.

2. If the gas stove is poorly ignited, the common reason is that the igniter electrode is not thoroughly cleaned. First, remove the ignition switch, and clean the ignition electrode head with a brush and alcohol, or slowly clean the impurities on it with a needle. If the electrode tip is damaged or the wire contact is poor, the igniter needs to be replaced.

3. Abnormal flame color of gas stove may be caused by impurities or carbon deposition in nozzle or burner. At this time, you can wipe the nozzle or burner surface with a cotton swab dipped in alcohol or detergent. If the situation is serious, it is necessary to remove the burner, remove the carbon deposit and impurities inside and reinstall it.

4. For the problem of gas leakage in the gas stove, first check whether the gas source interface and gas pipeline are fastened. If the connection is not tight, the joint needs to be tightened again. If the gas pipeline is broken or damaged, it needs to be replaced. At the same time, you can apply a cloth dipped in soapy water to see if there are any bubbles coming out. If there is, it is a problem of air leakage.

Repairing commercial gas stoves requires certain skills and experience. If you are not a professional, it is recommended to find a professional to repair and maintain them. At the same time, the daily maintenance of gas stoves is also very important. Regular cleaning and maintenance can prolong their service life and ensure safety.
