Back to Kangding, the love song city, the scenery is still the same, but it is too noisy. Fortunately, I live in the new city area.

It’s not far from Luding to Kangding, even if you don’t take the expressway. You can get there in two hours, and there’s no traffic jam. It's just that Kangding is different from the last time I went there. It's not that the urban construction has changed a lot, but it's just that it's too congested. The traffic jam started from the bus station in the old city and continued to the entrance of Paoma Mountain Scenic Area. The navigation was crazy. There are traffic police directing traffic at every intersection. There are always twists and turns and there are too many people. It is recommended that friends who want to stay in the old town must book a hotel in advance, if they are not afraid of noise and like the excitement.

Actually, the original intention of booking in Xincheng was not because I was afraid of the noise, but because I saw on the Internet that there were many houses in Xincheng and the distances on the map were not far. In fact, although the New Town and the Old Town are connected, the New Town is still relatively quiet. When I went there, there were not many vehicles or pedestrians on the street, so it was very quiet and suitable for rest. The disadvantage of the new town is that it is not very convenient to eat and play. Even if you have a car, don't drive to the old town because it is too crowded. At first glance, the old town of Kangding is no different from the city streets in the mainland.

After getting off the train, we went all the way to Luding and Kangding, which was very tiring. Fortunately, it is Kangding New Town and the environment is very quiet. But what is sad is that my mouth and throat hurt, my head felt a little uncomfortable, and I actually had symptoms of high fever. Fortunately, it has remained like this ever since, even at high altitudes. I went to bed very late and woke up very early. If I couldn't sleep, I took my camera and went downstairs early. The place where I live is very close to Paoma Mountain. I climbed halfway up the hillside, but after walking only a few hundred meters, I was already out of breath from exhaustion. Although it does not exceed 3,000, strenuous activities in Kangding will still be uncomfortable. The whole new city is shrouded in a layer of mist, like a fairyland, it's really beautiful. Looking in the direction of Zheduo Mountain, white clouds are floating on the mountainside, which is still beautiful.

Although it is a city, the animals in Kangding live very freely, which is very Tibetan. As soon as I walked out of the hotel door, I saw two chickens wandering around looking for food. Even if they didn't scare me away when I got very close, they looked at me calmly, like a master. Halfway up the mountain, I saw several groups of horses grazing. They had no reins and no owners. When I took the camera to take pictures of the horse, it actually walked towards me. In the end, it was me who ran away.

While standing on the mountain and looking around, I saw a young lama who was concentrating on studying. It was six o'clock in the morning. He was studying really hard.

On Paoma Mountain, I saw many plants and flowers unique to the plateau, which were delicate and bright, and particularly conspicuous. Some shrubs are accompanied by many moss-like plants. At first, I thought they were new species. Such companion plants should only be found at high altitudes. The entire Paoma Mountain is shrouded in mist, hazy and picturesque, with occasional peaks looming above the clouds, giving it a unique charm.

Looking at the old town of Kangding from a distance, it has been completely shrouded in clouds and fog. I wonder if it is like this every morning. Kangding City is strip-shaped and located in a valley. It is also the intersection of the Yala River and the Zheduo River. It has been the political, economic and cultural center of the Kangba Tibetan area since ancient times, and it is also the place where Tibetan and Chinese cultures meet and integrate. The beauty of Kangding is highly praised. It was once praised as "overseas fairyland and Penglai holy land" by Zhu Rongji, then Premier of the State Council.

Kangding is beautiful and has many interesting places, such as Paoma Mountain Scenic Area and Mugecuo. If you have enough time, you can go there. The author didn't stop too much because I was on my way. Kangding is actually very suitable as a transfer station because it has a suitable altitude and is convenient for shopping. It’s time to set off again through the morning mist. The next stop, Kangba, is a mountainous first pass. I am here to travel around, welcome to follow me.
