Since the founding of New China, especially in the past 20 years of reform and opening-up, most farmers in China have finally bid farewell to the threat of hunger and cold, and have increasingly embarked on a well-off road. In some areas, starting from the local reality, we adhered to the collective economy and achieved prosperity. Typical examples are Huaxi Village in Jiangsu, Hancunhe Village in Beijing, Nanjie Village in Henan and so on. The common feature of this kind of star villages is that they all have a party branch and village committee willing to help the masses get rich collectively, which are United and efficient, have a long-term prestigious leader, abandon a single agricultural operation, and have one or several leading industries with considerable scale. At the same time, what is the situation of spiritual civilization construction in these villages, what measures have been taken, what effects have been received and what experiences have been accumulated? With these questions, I participated in a study delegation of graduate students from Peking University to Huaxi Village, and spent a week learning about the spiritual civilization construction in the village. Huaxi Village was founded in 1960s, with 380 households, 1500 people. In the 1970s, Huaxi Village opened a hardware factory, which broke through the single agricultural economy and embarked on the road of comprehensive development of agriculture and industry. From 65438 to 0995, the scale of township enterprises in the village was the third in the country, and the total profit and tax was the first in the country. At present, more than 95% of the labor force in the village is engaged in industrial production. Villagers' income sources include basic wages, bonuses for overcapacity and efficiency improvement and public welfare undertakings. There is not a nouveau riche or a poor household in the village. The Party branch and the village committee are the leaders of the spiritual civilization construction in Huaxi Village. The village maintains the organizational structure of "one team, several brands", and the subordinate "spiritual civilization development company" is responsible for the specific planning and implementation. The Party branch of Huaxi Village has long attached great importance to the construction of spiritual civilization. Huaxi village is a typical example of the Dazhai movement of agricultural science in the 1960s. Many model figures of that year still play an important role in village leaders. At present, most of the facilities that play the role of propaganda and education of spiritual civilization were built one after another in the 1980 s and 1990 s with the enhancement of economic strength These facilities mainly include: Huaxi Road Farmers Park, which shows the entrepreneurial process; A 10,000-meter corridor runs through the village, with painted buildings; As the landmark building of Huaxi Village, Huaxi Golden Pagoda; Fully functional sports, the first village in the world "momentum, but also take into account the educational and practical functions." All these reflect the practical and unpretentious peasant wisdom of Huaxi people.
