How to install the door lock

Prepare to install the door lock tool and check the complete accessories of the lock: Phillips screwdriver and needle-nosed pliers.

Step 1: Install the hexagonal socket plug on the outer lock plate.

Step 2: Install the connecting rod of the lock panel to the hexagonal socket and reinforce it with needle-nose pliers.

Step 3: put the square bar into the slot hole of the handle, and the groove of the square bar faces the hexagon socket head screw, then fix the square bar and check whether it will fall off. See the figure below for the installation depth (it is very important that the hexagon socket head screw can just clamp the square steel to the best depth, which should be strictly implemented).

Step 4: Install the lock body on the perforated door.

Step 5: Fix the inner and outer panels of the lock on the door with screws (no need to fix them).

Step 6: Fix the lock cylinder.

Step 7: Fix the square bar with the hexagon socket head screw to prevent sliding, and then continue to step 5, adjust the lock panel to the most beautiful state, and fix the lock panel to complete the installation.

Finally, it is emphasized that when locking the square bar, we must follow step 3 to avoid unnecessary trouble caused by sliding when installing the square bar.

If the door handle can't be linked, the lock body can't open the door.

Please check:

First, whether the screws at the top of the square bar are tightened.

Second, whether the installation direction of the square bar is correct, the screw is easy to loosen during use, which leads to the sliding of the square bar.
