Guangzhou: Comprehensive cancellation of body temperature testing points at high-speed road toll stations

In accordance with the unified deployment of Guangdong Province on the prevention and control of the new coronavirus pneumonia epidemic, Guangzhou City on February 22, 2020 Starting from 0:00 a.m., the 54 temporarily reserved temperature checkpoints at expressway toll stations in the city will be completely cancelled. At this stage, the focus of work will be adjusted to ensure smooth traffic and fully promote the resumption of work and production of enterprises.

The Guangzhou Municipal Transportation Department will continue to implement relevant epidemic prevention measures in accordance with the requirements of superior departments.

Zhongshan: Traffic control adjustments

The traffic control measures at Zhongshan City’s traffic entrances, joint quarantine stations/cards, and related towns are adjusted as follows

41 road epidemic prevention inspection stations at highway exits and city boundary passage entrances were cancelled, and all highway toll station entrances resumed normal traffic. Cancel all joint quarantine stations (cards) between towns.

Reminder: Except for those returning to Zhongshan from places where the epidemic occurred and key areas, temperature checks and ID cards will no longer be carried out on vehicles and people entering the city.

4. Southern District Royal Yang Business Hotel (road opposite the entrance of Yuyang Business Hotel)

5. Zhongshan National Defense Education Base (from the intersection of Chenggui Road to the National Defense Education Base)

Jiangmen: Complete cancellation of highways Exit temperature measurement points

1. Cancel the highway exit traffic temperature measurement points. From 0:00 on February 22, all traffic temperature measurement points at highway exits in Jiangmen City will be completely canceled to ensure smooth transportation.

2. Smooth cargo transportation road network. Comprehensively cancel the inspection measures for cargo transport vehicles along the way to ensure the smooth flow of the freight network.

3. Restore the passenger transportation system in an orderly manner. Comprehensively resume passenger transportation services within the province. The operation of inter-provincial shuttle buses will be resumed in an orderly manner, and point-to-point operations will be implemented. Pick-up and drop-off, especially passenger pick-up, will be strictly controlled. Transportation companies must effectively implement their main responsibilities for epidemic prevention, strictly control the number of passengers on shuttle buses, and do a good job in epidemic prevention and other work.

4. Ensure smooth roads in villages (communities). Villages (communities) are strictly prohibited from taking measures such as road closures and disconnections to restrict the entry and exit of outsiders and vehicles.
