Where does Bortala belong in Xinjiang?

Located in the northwest edge of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region.

Bortala Mongolian Autonomous Prefecture is located on the northwest edge of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, which is connected with Tacheng in the east, Ili Kazakh Autonomous Prefecture in the south and Kazakhstan in the north, with a border of 380 kilometers.
