Shaanxi Archaeological Museum

Shaanxi Archaeological Museum is located in the northeast of the intersection of Wenyuan South Road and Zhongnan Avenue in Chang 'an District, xi City, Shaanxi Province. It is the first archaeological museum in China.

Shaanxi Institute of Archaeology, as the earliest and largest provincial archaeological research institution in China, took the lead in putting forward the idea of building an archaeological museum under the support of brilliant achievements and fruitful achievements in archaeology in the past century. After 10 years of efforts, Shaanxi Archaeological Museum has been fully built and will be open to the public soon.
