What if British students lose their passports and visas while traveling in Paris?

1) Call the police first and ask the police to issue a certificate that your property, including your passport, was stolen.

2) Send this certificate and your passport number to your classmates in the UK, and ask them to go to the education office or consulate to get you a valid identification, including your visa number and expiration date.

3) Take these documents to the French Consulate in China to apply for a temporary passport.

4) When you re-enter the UK with these documents, the British Customs will check your information according to your visa number.

5) After returning to the UK, go to the consulate to get a new passport and reissue a visa.

So it's troublesome to lose your passport.
