I want to go to Qiandao Lake in Hangzhou from Anting, Shanghai, during the National Day holiday. I would like to travel with three people per person for three days. What are the tips for food, accommodation and fun? What is the route and how much does it cost per trip?

We spent 2,900 on a self-driving trip to Qiandao Lake after the Mid-Autumn Festival and spent two and a half days. The Central Lake District Pier Tour includes the four islands at Meifeng, and the Southeast Lake District Pier Tour includes the two islands at Huangshan Tip. The Yuelai and Orange Art Hotels next to Xiushui Street are both quite good. If you want to stay in a lake-view room, I recommend you to go to Wangdao Hotel or Xiushifang. You can get it for less than 300 yuan in the off-season. But a reminder, housing is doubled during holidays! The food is fish from Qiandao Lake. Organic fish heads are everywhere, and the prices vary.

If you mainly go to Hangzhou, there will be more food and fun.
