New Zealand North Island Travel Guide for 5 Days and 4 Nights

New Zealand is divided into two islands, North Island and South Island. Among them, the North Island has a large number of tourist attractions, attracting friends from all over the world to visit every year to satisfy your curiosity and desire to explore and experience the unparalleled temptation of foreign countries. This is a five-day and four-night travel guide to the North Island of New Zealand.

I think this time, North Island did a good job. There are places worth going and regrets. You can refer to them.

1. It takes 3-4 hours to fly from Sydney, Australia to Auckland, the North Island of New Zealand.

The flight speed is fast and comfortable.

When you arrive, you don't have to worry too much about coming to New Zealand with an Australian passport. You'll come straight out.

After that, I stayed at a friend's house. They invited us to eat Chinese food, sing K and drink. Anyway, it's just a gathering of friends.

The next day, I drove from my friend's Oakland to the Hobbit Film Studio.

Because we went on Christmas, my New Zealand friend booked tickets early, saying it was difficult to get tickets in the peak season.

After all, it is a must-see for the North Island and the location of the Lord of the Rings, so there is nothing to lose.

Tip:

Friends who like to take pictures can buy an elf ear in the gift shop and take pictures in it. It's cute.

This Lord of the Rings movie studio is simply a holy place to take pictures.

I have made photos for iphone, which are quite amazing.

The scenery is beautiful and the props are complete.

We went to their Hobbit bar and had props to wear. I remember them hanging on the wall, just a few. After the tour guide visited here, we ate something casually and hit the road again.

Go to Rotorua, go to our health trip, go to volcanic hot springs!

As soon as you arrive in Rotorua, you can smell rotten eggs. My friend said it was actually sulfur, which means it's coming soon. The whole town smells like this.

I really don't remember where I had dinner. I should have eaten casually. After packing the hotel luggage, we went to the volcano hot spring.

Hotel:

Taizimen Hotel 4.5-star hotel

[Polynesian Hot Springs, Polynesian Hot Springs]

It is one of the top ten hot springs in the world selected by Explorer magazine and the first international hot spring center in New Zealand.

Geothermal mineral water from Polynesian hot springs is provided by natural spring water from acid-base eyes. Acid spring is a sulfur spring, which has a certain physical therapy effect on muscles and joints, while alkali spring can soothe the nerves and relax the brain.

The whole hot spring is divided into luxury pool, ordinary pool, private pool and family pool, of which the first three can enjoy the pleasant scenery of Rotorua Lake.

It's really awesome to see the lake view in the hot spring. Unfortunately, after my iphone was covered with waterproof cover, the photos taken were blurred and there were no beautiful photos.

There's a little sadness here.

Figure 6 Let's take a look.

After soaking, it's slippery.

The most important thing! Cough for 4 months. I'm fine.

Well, I'm worried. After giving birth, I am in poor health and dare not take western medicine because of a cold. Australian Chinese medicine is really not so good.

It's no use even going to Tong Ren Tang. I wonder how much it cost me. It would be great if my husband could take a hot spring bath in New Zealand.

After that, we were hungry. After all, I haven't eaten anything good after running all day. Find a pub

Pig whistle pub ordered hamburgers and French fries, plus a little wine.

Talking and laughing with friends, going back to the hotel to sleep around 9- 10.

Price: 80 yuan for two.

3. Check out and go to the Skyline Park. There are many interesting things.

Recommend zip lines and sledges! The zip line slides from tree to tree. The sleigh rode down the hill on a scooter.

Quite exciting! But it's not thrilling. You can also enjoy the beautiful scenery. This is killing two birds with one stone. Figure 2 is a photo taken at the entrance of the cable car on the skyline, followed by the lake view. Isn't it great?

After that, we drove to the shrimp farm.

Huka Prawn Park doesn't know why so many people write here, so we also went. The result is a relative regret. I wonder if there will be too many people at Christmas.

We caught a shrimp for four people. Yes, you are right. Four men caught a shrimp.

Because my husband caught it, I shared half of the shrimp with him. It's delicious.

But my arm is sunburned, too!

Tip: If you go to a shrimp farm, you must wear sunscreen.

Fishing there often takes 1-2 hours.

Christmas and Spring Festival are a big summer in New Zealand.

Girls, think about it.

Then we still spent a lot of money to buy shrimp from their shrimp farm restaurant. Actually, I want to say that it is better to eat directly than to go fishing. Of course, people with excellent shrimp catching skills can ignore it.

After eating, we will drive to Taupo.

Through huka falls. It's beautiful.

But personally, compared with the waterfalls in China, I think it is a bit general. Sign in at the Taupo Hotel.

Hotel: [quest taupo]

After a short rest, we will go for a walk in lake taupo. Although it is summer, we can still see some snow-capped mountains in lake taupo.

After that, I began to look for food, and I especially missed white rice when I traveled.

So I chose Thai food [Lotus Thailand] because there is hardly any Chinese food around here. It tastes good.

Price: two in 80 yuan.

4. going to wai o tapu after breakfast is also one of the must-see places in the north island. The whole park is smoky and spectacular.

We also went to see the natural volcanic fountain, which is also in the park. Every midnight, it will naturally spew out the fountain like Optimus Prime.

It is worth seeing. It will only stink eggs forever.

This photo was taken in the park. The whole lake is surrounded by fairy tales. Isn't it beautiful? Water is hot. Please pay attention.

At noon, we found a restaurant to eat, and we went to Blue Spring, the source of mineral water in New Zealand. This attraction is free, this attraction is free, this attraction is free.

But the scenery is good! Please look at Figure 9. Clean flow. Unfortunately, I can only send nine little red books. More than 9 scenic photos can be sent here. Many people bring bottles to hold water.

Then we drove to the lavender farm.

Lavender farm

A piece of lavender is really a girl's heart. Figure 8

I also brought some handwritten letters to my mother and friends on this farm. They make lavender oil and so on.

Then we set foot on the road back to Oakland.

In the evening, my friend Yan invited me again. Scampi in New Zealand is really big and delicious, although I ate a lot in Australia.

But the local food is bigger, and there are two ways to eat in Chinese restaurants. One is raw, the other is salt and pepper.

The salted fish really surprised me. You must try it sometime.

Fig. 8 is a scampi diagram.

The fifth day. A one-day trip to downtown Auckland is a bit boring compared to the previous trip. After all, Auckland is not big enough to compare with Sydney and other big cities in China.

We climbed to the top of the sky tower. Tourist: The process is OK. Then the casino, you know.

My friends are keen to take us to nightclubs at night, but I want to say that clubs in New Zealand are really dry.

I didn't get high, so I stayed inside, playing with some books with my mobile phone. I'm drunk. We also had a few drinks to say that we had a good time with our friends last night, and there were only a few dance floors.

Well, you might as well sleep at home if you don't go anyway!

Summary:

I enjoyed my trip to New Zealand very much. Although I have lived in Australia for 13 years, going to New Zealand is a bright spot. There are always different surprises in the trip, good and bad, which are worth recording and remembering.

Special thanks to friends from New Zealand for playing with us all the way.
