The geographical location of Juye Ze

Juye Ze was located in Yanzhou, southwest of ancient Shandong Province, and now it is 50 miles north of Juye County, Shandong Province. Details are as follows:

1, the origin of Juye Ze

In ancient times, Yanzhou in the southwest of Shandong Province was the center of Shandong people's activities, southwest of Mount Tai and the middle reaches of Gujishui (south of North China Plain). Because of the sediment deposition carried by the incoming water from the Loess Plateau, a vast flat land was formed. When Shandongese came out from the western mountainous area, they saw the endless Ye Ping, which is called the wild land.

Juye (ancient "Juye") is called Juye because it is the entrance to Juye. Xiao Ye River flows into a depression in the northeast, forming a lake named Konosawa.

Before the Sui and Tang Dynasties, this big Hunan was more than 300 miles north and more than 100 miles east and west, from Juye County to Liangshan County.

After the Five Dynasties, due to the repeated breaches of the Yellow River, the lake silted up and gradually dried up from south to north. Now Juye, Yuncheng, Jiaxiang and Liangshan have been silted up to the ground in the south, while the north has become a water margin.

Now the dammed lake has retreated to more than 20 kilometers north of Liangshan County (Houji). This is today's Dongping Lake. Therefore, Ozawa has become history and is unknown to people today.

2. The formation of Juye Ze

In ancient times, the mountainous area in central Shandong with Mount Tai as the main body was once an island in the sea. Due to the sediment deposition on the Loess Plateau carried by the Yellow River, a vast and flat wasteland gradually formed in the southwest of Mount Tai, and today's Southwest Shandong Plain appeared, connecting Mount Tai with the mainland.

Yanzhou, in the southwest of ancient Shandong, is the activity center of Lu people. Lu people came out of the mountains in the west and saw this endless wilderness, which was called Daye at that time.

Juye is called Juye because it is the entrance of Daye from east to west. "Giant" is "big", and giant field is big field. The river on the Xiao Ye flows into a depression in the northeast, forming a lake named Konosawa.
