Shen Lielie's Criminal Trial

Since 2003, the organization headed by Shen Lielie has recruited a number of ex-prisoners and social idlers, and by 2007, it has gradually formed a relatively stable criminal organization of underworld nature.

Based in Yuhuan International Hotel, they call themselves "international gangs" or "national gangs", and illegally collect tens of millions of yuan by means of violence and coercion, such as forced betting in casinos, usury, illegal management of Mark Six lottery, opening casinos, forced trading and extortion.

Over the years, the "international gang" * * * caused serious injuries 1 person, minor injuries1person, damaged 5 vehicles, and was accused of committing crimes 12, with 37 criminal facts.

The 12 charges are: organizing and leading an underworld organization, stirring up trouble, intentional injury, stirring up trouble, illegal detention, extortion, intentional destruction of property, opening a casino, forced trading, rape, illegal business operation and harboring others. Among them, Shen Lielie committed the first nine crimes.

This mega-gang-related case was listed as a supervision case by the Ministry of Public Security. Yuhuan police closed the net last April after a secret investigation.

On may 2012 16, linhai court was appointed by Taizhou intermediate people's court to hear the case in a different place.

In the largest court of Linhai Court, 44 gang members stood in two long rows. The indictment is 56 pages long, and there are 53 volumes of public security investigation. It is estimated that the trial will take eight days to complete.

The number of defendants, the number of charges and the number of illegal and criminal facts in this case are the highest in Taizhou.
