The length of the probation period is determined according to the length of the labor contract.

The Labor Contract Law stipulates that the probation period shall not exceed 1 month if the term of the labor contract is more than three months but less than one year (there is no probation period if the term of the labor contract is less than three months), not more than two months if it is more than one year but less than three years, and not more than six months if it is more than three years.
