China Nuclear Industry No.222 Construction Co., Ltd. was established in August 2006. Its predecessor is China Nuclear Industry No.222 Construction Company, which belongs to China Nuclear Industry Construction Group. In 2003, with the approval of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council and the Ministry of Finance, the company began to implement debt-to-equity swap and carry out enterprise restructuring. In August 2006, two shareholders, China Nuclear Industry Construction Group Corporation and China Xinda Asset Management Corporation, established China Nuclear Industry 222 Construction Co., Ltd. on the basis of China Nuclear Industry 222 Construction Company.

The company is headquartered in Yichang City, Hubei Province, with secondary units in Zhejiang, Shanghai, Anhui, Shaanxi, Chongqing and Yichang, and construction projects in many provinces and cities across the country. Over the years, the company has built 404 nuclear power plant, 82 1 nuclear power plant, Qinshan nuclear power plant, Qinshan nuclear power plant phase II, Qinshan nuclear power plant phase III and Tianwan nuclear power plant. Xiangfan Shenlong Automobile Co., Ltd.
