For help on self-guided tours, what is the best route from Shanghai to Wuxi, Suzhou, Zhouzhuang, Wuzhen, and Hangzhou? Which travel agency offers self-guided tours?

The best plan:

Go to Wuxi on the first day and visit Meiyuan, Yuantouzhu and Huishan, which will take two days. On the second night, we rushed to Suzhou and stayed at the Home Inn.

Day 3: Take the bus at Suzhou North Bus Station to Zhouzhuang. Return to Suzhou that night.

Day 4: Visit Suzhou’s Tiger Hill, Liuyuan Garden and Shantang Street

Day 5: Visit the Humble Administrator’s Garden in the morning and go to Zhenhu in Suzhou at noon, where Su embroidery is Hometown, buying the gifts you want is definitely worth the money. (The same embroidery is a quarter of the price in a large shopping mall).

We arrived at the south gate of Suzhou that night and took a boat to Hangzhou. For those with sleeper berths, the boat sailed at 17:30 and disembarked at 07:45 the next day.

Day 6: Visit the West Lake in Hangzhou.

Day 7: Visit Linyin Temple in Hangzhou, and take the latest bus to Wuzhen in the afternoon.

Day 8: Tour the old streets of Wuzhen, Xianheng Hotel, etc. are basically concentrated in one place. In the afternoon, we will take the last bus back to Shanghai.

For all accommodations, you can contact Home Inns in advance, which can be much cheaper.

The reason why I don’t recommend that you follow a travel agency is because the travel agency’s itinerary is not satisfactory. It is better to control it yourself. It is very convenient to buy a map every time you go to a place.
