Why was the first phase of Xi’an Courtyard not demolished?

The reasons why this courtyard was not demolished in the first phase are as follows:

1. From a cultural and tourism perspective, the service format of Xi’an courtyard is private and hotel-style. Generally, when you stay in a hotel, you don't have any feelings and you just leave after your stay. But living here is to make you feel at home and cook in the house, not a standard room or presidential suite.

2. From a residential perspective, when you leave your room, you can play chess, drink tea, and have a barbecue in the yard, which gives you a sense of family. And to highlight a sense of privacy, each courtyard has an open-air hot spring bathing pool surrounded by vegetation, which gives you the feeling of taking a bath in your own yard.
