Contents of the Six Constant Management Laws

The Six Constant Management Method is a hotel management model that was summed up and innovated by Shao Dechun, a well-known hotel management and service training expert, from the Japanese "5S" method. The "six constants" are regular classification, regular arrangement, regular cleaning, regular maintenance, regular standardization and regular education.

1. Regular classification: It is to divide all items managed by the hotel into two categories: one category is no longer used, and the other category is still used.

2. Regular organization: clearing away unused items, reducing the number of items that are still needed to the minimum safe amount, and then placing them in an orderly manner, with stickers that anyone can understand at a glance Label.

3. Regular cleaning: after finishing the arrangement, you must clean the items and facilities.

4. Regular maintenance: It means regular maintenance of the results of the previous "three constants". The best way to maintain the "three constants" is to classify without classifying; organize without sorting; and clean without cleaning.

5. Standardization is to standardize all behaviors of employees.

6. Regular education is to enable all employees to develop the "six regular" habits through criticism and education.

In 1955, Japan’s 5S slogan was “Safety starts with arranging and ends with arranging.” At that time, only the first two S's were implemented, and their purpose was only to ensure the adequacy and safety of the working space. By 1986, Japan's 5S books gradually came out, which had an impact on the entire on-site management model and set off a 5S craze.
