1, school profile

Tian Ping College of Suzhou University of Science and Technology is a full-time undergraduate college approved by the Ministry of Education, with a four-year academic system. It is located in the national high-tech industrial development zone in the west of Suzhou ancient city. The college was founded in 1999, and started enrolling students in September 2000. The alma mater, Suzhou University of Science and Technology, was formed by the merger of Suzhou Institute of Urban Construction and Environmental Protection and Suzhou Railway Teachers College in September 20001year.

2. University environment

At present, the college has schools of environmental science and engineering, civil engineering, intelligent manufacturing, management, language and culture, art and public education. It has formed a distinctive professional pattern with industry as the mainstay, coordinated development of engineering, science, literature, management and art.

3. Specialty with characteristics

There are 29 majors (directions) such as landscape architecture, environmental engineering, civil engineering, financial management, Chinese language and literature, environmental design and English, and 5 majors such as computer science and technology, mechanical design and manufacturing and automation, hotel management, financial management and business English. In 2020, our college will implement seven through-training projects of modern vocational education system, such as electronic information project (3+4) jointly cultivated with Suzhou Higher Vocational and Technical School.
