With the development of frequency conversion and constant pressure water supply technology and the continuous improvement of people's requirements for drinking water quality, frequency conversion and constant pressure water supply equipment has been widely used in multi-storey residential quarters and high-rise buildings. Frequency conversion and constant pressure water supply equipment generally has the characteristics of low equipment investment, stable and reliable system operation, small floor space, electricity and water saving, high degree of automation and convenient operation and control. However, in practical application, if it is not properly selected and controlled, it will not only fail to achieve the purpose of energy saving, but will "waste electricity". According to our years of practical experience, the application and control methods of frequency conversion water supply equipment are introduced below for users' reference in design, transformation and selection.
2. Introduction of frequency conversion and constant pressure water supply equipment
This kind of equipment is widely used in practical applications. The system consists of water pump unit, circulating soft start frequency conversion cabinet, line programmable controller, pressure sensor, pipeline system and so on. The frequency conversion cabinet consists of frequency conversion governor, PLC and low-voltage electrical appliances. In general, the system will select three to five pumps of the same model. Taking three pumps as an example, the working conditions of the system are as follows:
At ordinary times 1 water pump frequency conversion water supply. 1 When the water supply of the pump is insufficient, the first pump runs at frequency, and the second pump is soft-started by the frequency conversion cabinet. In addition, the system has the function of replacing the pump regularly. If one pump runs continuously over the X h frequency conversion cabinet, it can automatically stop the pump and switch to the next pump to continue the frequency conversion operation. The replacement time of the pump is set by the program and can be adjusted at any time as needed. This can balance the running time of each pump and prolong the life of the whole pump group.
This system is generally suitable for large-scale multi-storey residential quarters (such as more than 300 households) or other water systems, and the pump power is generally less than 55kW. In addition, it is also suitable for other occasions, such as circulating water system, where small flow water consumption time is very short or water consumption changes little.
