Tongan is an ancient city with a long history in southern Fujian. Since the founding of the county 1700 years. Talented people have come forth in large numbers throughout the ages, with fascinating natural and cultural landscapes. Shierlongtan

Sandeng island

Located in Daleng Town, Tongan, it is composed of Daleng Island, Xiaoleng Island and Jiaoyu Island, with Jinmen Island in the south and only 1000 meters away from the nearest place. Tongan Confucius temple

Located on the west bank of Dongxi in Tongan District, it was built in the Five Dynasties. The existing building is the Dacheng Hall rebuilt during the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty.

Today, Confucius Temple has become a museum in Tong 'an District, displaying historical sites and cultural relics in Tong 'an since the Western Han Dynasty. On the north side of the temple, there are more than 200 stone carvings and inscriptions collected from all over the country, with different expressions and realistic shapes, which are called "Tongan Terracotta Warriors".

Tingxi reservoir

Located at the foot of Tingxi Mountain in Tongan, it was rebuilt at 1956, with a storage capacity of more than 48 million cubic meters. The reservoir winds behind the mountain, huge and spectacular. The lake is as clear as a mirror, with mountains and rivers crisscrossing, and it is refreshing to play in the water between green mountains and clear waters.

Brahma Temple is located at the foot of the main peak of Dalun Mountain in Tongan. It is an ancient temple built in the Sui Dynasty (AD 58 1 year). Formerly known as Xingjiao Temple, it was later renamed Brahma Temple. Thousands of years ago, there were many famous monks and teachers in this temple, and their names spread far and wide, and the incense was endless. The temple has been abandoned repeatedly, and many believers at home and abroad raised funds to build and donate money. In recent years, the mountain gate, Gongde Hall, chanting Buddha, Bell Tower, Thousand Buddha Pavilion and other historical sites have been restored, and the temple has been restored to its old appearance. There is a Brahma Pagoda built in the Song Dynasty in Brahma Temple, which is square, three-storeyed, solid stone structure and 4.68 meters high. It is the material for studying ancient religion and stone carving art .. Zhu's inscription and stone carving are also among them.
