Professor Lin Qiyuan is a doctor, professor and postgraduate tutor of general surgery in West China University of Medical Sciences. From 65438 to 0998, Sichuan University sent him to Tokyo National Cancer Research Hospital to do clinical work on digestive tract tumors (mainly gastric cancer and colorectal cancer). In 2000, he was sent to Prince of Wales Hospital of the Chinese University of Hong Kong to do clinical work on liver cancer and liver transplantation. For the first time in China, a new treatment method for pulmonary aspergillosis infection in patients after liver transplantation and a new treatment scheme for portal vein thrombosis recipient liver transplantation were proposed. He has undertaken scientific research projects 14, presided over national natural science foundation projects 1, provincial projects 1 and other projects, mainly researching 2 national natural science foundation projects and 2 provincial and ministerial projects. There are more than 80 core journal papers, 3 SCI papers and 3 monographs.

In 2002, Professor Lin Qiyuan was appointed by the Organization Department of Sichuan Provincial Party Committee to the First People's Hospital of Yibin City as the principal, deputy secretary and vice president of Yibin Health School. Determined the development policy of the hospital: "individual scholars, departments and disciplines, hospital colleges" (article published in the second issue of China Journal of Hospital Management in 2009); Talent strategy: "train or introduce an expert, drive a specialist, take a specialist with a specialist, and take a specialist with a hospital"; Development thinking: "fine business, heavy management, development and image building". The first liver transplantation operation was successfully carried out in prefecture-level hospitals in central and western China, which achieved good economic and social benefits.
