Suoxian County is located at the junction of the northern Tibetan Plateau and the eastern Tibetan alpine canyon, and is located in the Suoqu River basin in the upper reaches of the Nujiang River. It is one of the "three eastern counties" in Naqu City. It belongs to Naqu City, Tibet, bordering Dingqing County of Changdu City in the east, Ruxian County and Bianba County of Changdu City in the southwest and Baqing County in the north.
