There are two roads to Yuanyang, one is through Yuxi and Jianshui, and the other is through Kaiyuan and Gejiu. We choose from Yuxi Expressway to Jianshui, and then from Jianshui along the asphalt road to Yuanyang, where we can enjoy the scenery of Ailao Mountain terraces.

Arrive in Yuanyang, it's getting late, and check into the hotel directly. At about 6 o'clock the next morning, I arrived at Duoyi Tree to shoot the sunrise, and it was about 40 minutes' drive from the hotel to Duoyi Tree. When we arrived, we found that someone else had arrived before us. Looking around, most of them are photographers. They have chosen their positions and put away their photo frames. At this time, before sunrise, the outline of terraced fields is looming in the morning light, overlooking Shan Ye, showing a faint ink painting. When the red sun rises in the east, the first ray of sunshine sets, and the terraced fields filled with water begin to show a silver luster. Gradually, under the projection of the sun, the golden light shines, and the surrounding colors change with the rising of the sun. It is colorful and dazzling, and people can't help but sigh that the local terraced masterpieces are natural earth art.

The old city of Yuanyang is "Xinjie Town", and now it is mentioned that Yuanyang is a multi-guide sand new city. Generally speaking, photography groups and tour groups will still choose to live in the old city, and the drive from the new city to the old city is 1 hour, because it is a winding mountain road, so be careful when driving.

Beautiful, quiet, dreamy and idyllic.

Yuanyang pats terraces, and there will be different shocks at different times. Some places are suitable for shooting in the morning, such as the multi-purpose tree, and some places are suitable for shooting at dusk, such as Bada and Hukou.

Sunsets were taken in Bada and Hukou two days before and after. It is said that the sunset scenes of terraced fields in the two places are equally amazing. Standing on Gaogang, looking from the Tiger Mouth Observation Deck, there are continuous terraces on three sides, and the momentum is magnificent between ups and downs. The afterglow of the sunset interweaves with the lines of the ridge, creating a flowing light and shadow, which is awe-inspiring. As the twilight gradually dispersed, the terraced fields changed into gorgeous colors, which made people feel that they were in a fairyland in the sky. We don't sigh that the pastoral scenery in this mountain is rare on earth. Mountains and rivers, streams, villages and terraces are the four things that Hani people cherish most. In the eyes of Hani people, terraced fields are their reliance and a gift from heaven, so they carefully carve terraced fields like nature and strive for harmony with nature.

Since the14th century, the farming techniques of terraced fields have spread all over China and Southeast Asia, but few places can match Yuanyang's terraced fields in scale and aesthetics. In the depths of Ailao Mountain, the local people opened up cascading terraces, which were praised as "mountain sculptors" by the world.

Mushroom house Hani home

In Yuanyang, the local people will tell you that you will go to the Duoyi Tree at sunrise and go to the tiger's mouth at sunset. If you want to know the Hani culture, you have to go to Qingkou. The most distinctive Hani village in Yuanyang is called Qingkou, which is not far from the old county. There are terraces on both sides of the road. It takes about half an hour to get to Qingkou. From a distance, you can see the mushroom-shaped houses hidden among the terraces in the mountains, which are very cute. This is the landmark building of the Hani nationality, the "Mushroom House". The ceiling of the mushroom house is made of thatch, so it looks like a mushroom from a distance, and the interior of the house is also unique. It is divided into three floors, the bottom is livestock, the second floor is people, and the top floor is warehouse. There are many ethnic minorities living in Yuanyang, including Hani, Yi, Dai, Miao, Yao and Zhuang. Among them, the Hani nationality has a large number, mainly living in villages centered on the old county town of Yuanyang, among which Qingkou is one of the larger villages.

Longji Hua Ting Transportation: There is a shuttle bus to Longsheng every 15 minutes at Guilin coach station. Take a bus in peace county. Now there are shuttle buses in every stockade, and Dazhai is in the innermost part. Pass through Guzhuang Village, peace village and Xiaozhai in turn. When you come back, you can also take the shuttle bus to Heping Township intersection first, and then stop the bus from Longsheng to Guilin.
