In short, the mode of "please quote (self-service pricing)" is that customers mark the price they are willing to pay on the price travel network to make hotel room reservations, and the price travel network will search and confirm the hotels or suppliers who are willing to accept the quotation.

The price line provides directional self-service pricing and fuzzy self-service pricing. Both self-service pricing include two payment methods: front desk pay-as-you-go and online payment. Online payment, that is, prepayment, is usually more favorable than cash payment at the front desk, and the order confirmed by the hotel cannot be cancelled or changed, so it is more suitable for guests with confirmed itinerary. Rooms confirmed by cash at the front desk can generally be kept until the day of check-in 18:00, which is relatively expensive, but guests can cancel and change their tickets if they can't come as scheduled, so cash at the front desk is more suitable for guests with uncertain travel plans.

Directional self-service pricing bids for a certain room type of a hotel, while fuzzy self-service pricing bids for several hotels of the same level or higher in the same star and the same area. Customers only need to enter and submit the hotel star rating, regional scope, check-in date and acceptable price, so they can book low-priced and high-quality hotels. The online payment booking process of fuzzy self-service pricing is as follows:

1. Customers who book hotels on price line travel network need to submit the hotel star rating, business circle of the city, date and price to the system. After online payment, usually less than 5 minutes later, the price line travel network will return to a page to inform whether to accept the price and feed back the specific information of the product, including the hotel name and address. At the same time, this information will be further informed to customers by telephone, SMS or email.

2. If the price submitted by the customer can't be concluded immediately, it is necessary for the price line negotiator to further negotiate with the hotels that meet the requirements submitted by the customer. The price line travel network will return a page to remind customers to wait patiently 15 minutes. Customers will be informed of the results by phone, SMS and email within 15 minutes. If the reservation fails, the price line will refund all the reservation fees within 2 hours.

3. For the bids submitted by customers, the price line will be matched according to the principle of quality first. For example, customers bid 180 yuan to buy a three-star hotel room near the business district of Beijing Asian Games Village every night. If three qualified hotels in this business district have rooms and can accept this price, the advertised price of the first hotel is 2 10 yuan/night, the second is 220 yuan/night, and the third is 230 yuan/night. Suppose the cost performance score of these three hotels is 1. Then the price line will give priority to help customers book hotels with open prices in 230 yuan every night. Transaction price of customers 180 yuan/night.

4. In order to ensure the rationality and comparability of the hotel's public price, the price line will combine field visits and customer evaluations every year to comprehensively score the cost performance of each hotel according to the hotel's facilities, location, service, price, transportation, catering, hygiene and comfort. In the principle of quality first and winning, the winning hotel will be confirmed according to the comparable price of each hotel (that is, the open price * the cost performance score of the hotel). No matter which hotel wins the bid first, the transaction amount booked by the customer is equal to or lower than the bid amount of the customer.

5. The price line also adopts the principle of quality first for star rating, and matches the hotels that can accept the unit price according to the order from high star to low star. If the customer wants to stay in a two-star hotel, the price line will check whether the prices of 5, 4, 3 and 2-star hotels match with yours according to the principle of quality first.

6. At the same time, in order to better protect the interests of the price bank and suppliers, the price bank has also formulated stricter auction rules for customers. If the customer chooses online payment instead of cash at the front desk (usually online payment can get more benefits than cash at the front desk), the customer must pay online before the auction begins. Once the auction is successful, the sold hotel rooms and air tickets are not allowed to be returned.
