About food and accommodation

There is currently only Orion Villa on the mountain, about 1,500 meters above sea level. It is a three-star mountain resort hotel with Nordic architectural style.

It is relatively free during holidays. It's quite tight, the average room price is 500, including Chinese breakfast, which is relatively simple. Six of us had four meals here in one day, and almost every dish was different. Highly recommended: Griddle-pot muntjac meat, alpine snails, Griddle-pot shiitake mushrooms, fried tea tree rut, Longquan Mountain creek fish, and home-brewed red yeast wine, all great. Many of them are ordinary home-cooked dishes, but they are better because their ingredients are fresh and the chefs cook them well.

As soon as I stepped in, I was struck by the villa in front of me. There is a very distinctive monastery located among the uncarved mountains and villages, surrounded by lush trees. In the distance there are undulating peaks, clouds and mist, and the mountains are like the sea, as if you have entered the primitive nature. At night, the quiet moon is bright and shining lightly on the window lattice. The breeze blows through the forest and beats the leaves as I sleep. In my dream, there are towering ancient trees and herds of antelopes.

There is also a "Fengyang Temple" next to the hotel, which looks a bit old and enshrines the ancestor of shiitake mushrooms. Longquan is one of the birthplaces of shiitake mushrooms in the world, with a history of cultivating shiitake mushrooms for more than 800 years. Once upon a time, almost all dried mushrooms in the entire continent were produced in Longquan, Qingyuan and Jingning counties, covering 11 provinces and cities in the south.

The villa is decorated in a retro and original style. The wooden furniture is matched with wooden ceilings and walls, giving a fresh and natural atmosphere.

Coupled with the extremely strong design of lamps and decorations, especially the details, the whole room is full of unique personality, which is an original and natural taste.

The history of Longquan can be traced back to the Neolithic period, that ancient and primitive land. Since then, human beings have been active in these vast mountains, living by eating wind, drinking dew, fishing and hunting. They were active in the mountains and fields, and they hunted in the jungles. Jackals, tigers and leopards all turned into their illustrious achievements. The decoration of Orion Villa, as its name suggests, led me into those ancient and primitive years.
