The first day (February 19, 2007)

I got up early and took a slow walk to the 704 Palace. Along the way, the air was fresh, birds were singing and flowers were fragrant, and little squirrels were walking up and down the towering trees on the roadside.

In less than ten minutes, we arrived at the entrance of the palace. Project 704 is a military base set up in Hangzhou by Lin Biao to launch the "571" armed coup. Because it was built in April 1970, it was called "Project 704". Later people called it Lin Biao's 704 project. Palace.

We first visited the underground command center, which is the strongest part of the entire project. It is an independent tunnel-style building with a command room, a communication and reporting room, and attached power generation and Water supply system and food storage area. After that, I visited Lin Biao’s bedroom (Building 1). I felt that the room was very spacious, but compared with now, the furniture here seemed very simple.

After visiting the 704 Palace, we went to have a buffet breakfast. While eating, I waited for Zhong Yuancheng and Tang Haoqing. We gathered in the lobby and set off for Lingyin Temple before 11 o'clock.

Everywhere Ming and Xin went, in addition to kowtowing, they also put a total of 66 one-yuan coins given by their grandma into the wedding box or the wishing well one by one. After burning the incense and worshiping the Buddha, we gathered at the exit to go to the North Peak.

North Peak is located behind Lingyin Temple. Together with South Peak, it is called the Twin Peaks. It is an important part of Lingyin Scenic Area. With an altitude of more than 350 meters, it ranks first among the peaks in Hangzhou. When you climb to the top, you can have a panoramic view of the rivers, lakes, clouds and trees, which makes you relaxed and relaxed. It is a good place for tourists to climb and enjoy the scenery. Historical celebrities such as Su Dongpo, Kangxi, Qianlong, Mao Zedong, Zhu De, etc. all visited and wrote poems. There have been Buddhist temples, pagodas and temple buildings on the top of the peak since the Tang Dynasty. Today, there is a memorial pavilion for Mao Zedong's poem monument and a century clock. Mao Zedong composed a poem when he climbed the North Peak in 1959:

I originally planned to take the cable car, but found that there were countless people waiting in line, so I had to climb the mountain by myself. Ming followed the crowd and headed towards the mountain climbing point happily. Xin was disappointed and full of grievances, and refused to climb the mountain with the large group. Although he was reluctant to follow the climber in the end, he stopped and cried and cursed along the way. His cries echoed on the North Peak, and he received curious or sympathetic looks from passers-by. When we reached the top of the mountain, the large group had just arrived. Everyone was sweating profusely and had ice cream in their hands. As soon as she saw the ice cream, Xin immediately forgot her previous anger and fatigue. She rushed to the ice cream cabinet in a few steps and bought ice cream. Then she sat in front of the stone tablet engraved with Chairman Mao's poems and couldn't wait to eat it. After finishing the cold drinks, everyone bought tea eggs and dried tofu, and they looked satisfied. Then I went to the Temple of Wealth with Teacher Li and Dr. Zhong. After worshiping the God of Wealth, several children went to ring the big bell to pray for the New Year. Then everyone fulfilled Xin's wish, took the cable car, and went down the mountain easily.

After going down the mountain, we went back to the hotel to rest. Before 5 o'clock, we set off to Xiao Shaoxin Restaurant for dinner. We ordered dry pot fairy chicken, Qiandao Lake fish head soup, crispy hoof and other specialties. Finally, we added shrimp and eel noodles because they were the kind of noodles we ate "when I was a kid". Dr. Zhong praised them very much and they are very popular. . Xin also ate two bowls with relish. Not to be outdone, Tang Haoqing forcefully snatched the last two bites of noodles from Dr. Zhong's chopsticks.

After dinner, everyone went back to the hotel to rest.

After breakfast, we left the hotel and walked along the wall of the Air Force Sanatorium to Longjing The road, looking along the green grass and woods beside the road, is the New West Lake. There are many two- and three-story small buildings on the roadside, all of which are teahouses and restaurants. The names of the shops are different, but they are all elegant, poetic and picturesque, which fits well with the environment of the New West Lake.

Seeing the stone beach, lawn and small bamboo forest by the lake, the children rushed over impatiently. After a while of searching, everyone found their "tree-cutting" weapons and started slashing at various plants. , as expected, Tang Haoqing's posture was the most powerful, and his kung fu was the most impressive. In comparison, the others seemed very unprofessional. In order to find suitable weapons, several small bamboo clumps were brutally attacked and several branches were pulled off. Such blatant destruction of greening finally aroused rebuke from the security guards at the scenic spot, and the "tree-cutting" activities were therefore restrained a lot.

Xin held the cut bamboo branches and bent over like an old lady. With everyone’s encouragement, Tang Haoqing followed suit and acted like an old grandfather. The two children, standing on crutches, bent over, With hunched backs and squinted eyes, they helped each other move forward, which made everyone laugh. Zhong Yuancheng and Ma Ruming were walking and playing, or chatting a few words about games.

For adults, in addition to admiring the children's "running wild", they are also intoxicated by the beautiful, quiet and picturesque scenery of New West Lake. Perhaps because it was morning, there were few tourists in the entire scenic spot. Microwaves rippled on the lake, and the lake water gently lapped at the stone beach. Except for the sound of children "cutting down trees" and the occasional warnings from adults, the surroundings were very quiet. In Hangzhou, which has a long Spring Festival holiday, it is extremely rare to be able to enjoy such peace and tranquility. It makes people want to settle down in Hangzhou.

We walked through the forest path, walked across the wooden trestle, crossed the flowing stones of the stream, and slowly walked to Yanggong Embankment. Everyone rested for half an hour in a pavilion, and the children still used the time to play game consoles. After that, I took a taxi to my grandma’s restaurant in the AD Building to have dinner. A table full of dishes for 11 people cost more than 400 yuan. It was really cheap and good. No wonder Teacher Li spent a lot of effort to book a table.

After dinner, return to the hotel and check out. Tang Haoqing and his family drove home first. Seeing that the train left early, we sat in the heart-shaped garden for a while. Ming and Zhong Yuancheng seized the last half hour to play PSP. We adults sat under the big tree, admiring the green mountains on all sides, and started planning our next trip to Hangzhou.

We left the hotel at around 3:30 and headed to the train station. The train starts at 4:30 and arrives at Shanghai South Railway Station at 5:50.
