Film Review: Hotel Rwanda-Solidified and Touching Never seen such a real movie about genocide! When you see piles of bodies! Bloody machetes cut off their heads! Roaring bullets pierced people's necks and arteries. What is cruelty, what is barbarism and what is ignorance! It is completely clear at a glance. I just seem to have heard the name Rwanda before watching this movie. I didn't know this kind of thing would break out in this place in the 1990s. Millions of people have been slaughtered, which is outrageous. The car suddenly skidded while driving in the fog. My heart is shaking. Did it crush the body? When winding along a road, the pushed body is out of sight. When I watched the film in the dark, I could clearly feel my heart twitching. After reading it, I felt a bit like Schindler's List. It's also a bit like a movie I saw before (I forgot the title) in which the French consulate sheltered refugees during World War II. These similarities seem to have turned into genocide in order to uphold my own humanity. The film revolves around Paul, the acting manager of Rwanda Hotel. His relatives and the 1000 refugees he sheltered did not see the world too much through the eyes of a third party, but felt it entirely through the protagonist, and saved the lives of the vast majority of refugees through deception, bribery, intimidation and delay. This is in stark contrast to the cold-blooded and utilitarian nature of western powers. It is Paul's unremitting efforts that make us feel a trace of warmth and hope in this cold film. Maybe many people have seen this film here.
