Jiuzhai Paradise Hotel collapsed, and more than 2,800 stranded people have been safely evacuated.

At present, two aftershocks have been monitored, and there is still the possibility of strong aftershocks. The earthquake occurred at the intersection of Minjiang fault zone and East Kunlun fault zone. By 9 August 1: 30, the corps had dispatched 129 vehicles, 12 19 officers and soldiers, 20 search and rescue dogs and 55 life detectors to the rescue site. Among them, six fire engines and 37 officers and men from Jiuzhaigou County Squadron and Songpan County Squadron of Aba detachment have arrived at the scene to carry out rescue. Up to now, more than 2,800 people stranded in Jiuzhai Paradise Hotel have all been evacuated to safety.

According to the official information released by the Seismological Bureau of Sichuan Province, two aftershocks have been detected at present, and strong aftershocks may occur in the future.
