How to get to the Grand Palace from Siam?

From Holiday Inn Bangkok, you can walk to the nearest light rail station (Bangkok is called Kongguo), one stop to Siam, then turn to SILOM line to the terminal of TAKSIN Bridge, get off at the ferry center station (30 meters), take a ferry to visit the Zhaopa River, see some Bangkok city scenery, temples and old towns along the river, get off at Pier 8 or Pier 9 and walk to the Grand Palace. This way of walking is more leisurely and you see more. Taking a taxi is more purposeful, but it misses a lot. Considering that taxis in Bangkok are dirty in the Grand Palace, I suggest you take a taxi to the Grand Palace, walk slowly to the nearest PIER after reading it, then take a ferry to the CENTRAL PIER, and then fly back to the hotel or go shopping in Siam.
