Ningxia Zhongwei

Zhongwei is located at the source of the Yellow River, in the middle and west of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, at the junction of Ningxia, Gansu and Inner Mongolia provinces. It is the youngest prefecture-level city in Ningxia, with jurisdiction over shapotou district, Zhongning and Haiyuan counties, and the administrative center of the Municipal People's Government is in shapotou district New District.
