Method for installing hood of range hood

Range hood The range hood is a necessary equipment in the kitchen, which can effectively absorb lampblack and odor and keep the kitchen air fresh. Only by correctly installing the hood of the range hood can its efficacy be fully exerted. The following are the common installation methods of range hood.

1. Measuring height and position: Before installing the range hood, measure the height of the ceiling and the position of the hood of the range hood. Generally speaking, the height of the hood of the range hood is 65-75 cm from the ground, no more than 80 cm from the surface of the stove and no more than 75 cm from the surface of the wall-hung boiler.

2. Mounting bracket: Mount the metal bracket of the hood of the range hood on the ceiling. There are two kinds of brackets, one is directly nailed to the wall, and the other is fixed to the ceiling through battens and messenger wires.

3. Install the smoke pipe: connect the smoke pipe to the hood of the range hood, and then wrap the smoke pipe around the wall along the ceiling. It is best to install a flue with straight-through function to ensure the smooth discharge of flue gas.

4. Cut the switch hole: use an electric drill and a saw to cut a hole in the wall below the hood of the range hood so as to pass through the switch wire.

5. Connect the power supply: plug the wire of the range hood into the wall socket, and don't hang the wire from the corner or ceiling.

6. Adjust the position and fix it: adjust the position of the hood of the range hood to ensure that it is on the same level with the surface of the cooker. Then use a screwdriver and an expansion wall anchor to install the hood and flue on the wall.

The above are the common installation methods of range hoods. It should be noted that when installing the hood of the range hood, the power supply must run normally. If necessary, an electrician should be invited to assist in the installation. In addition, be sure to follow the manufacturer's installation instructions to avoid accidents during installation.
