History of Tangdao Bay Tourism Resort

The history of Tangdao Bay can be traced back to the Sui and Tang Dynasties, when it had developed into an important port in the north. During the Zhenguan period of the Tang Dynasty, when Emperor Taizong of Li Shimin sent general Sean to lead warships to North Korea, he was stationed here, so the island was called Tang Island; The smoke of the famous "Song-Jin naval battle" in the Southern Song Dynasty also permeated here, and more than 100 warships of Jinbing were wiped out in one fell swoop; During the Yuan and Ming Dynasties, it was also an important anchorage for the sea route of transporting grain from south to north. At that time, there were a constant stream of ships and department stores in Tangdao Bay. Later, Tangdao Bay silted up and lost its prosperity in history.

However, after washing away the lead, Tangdao Bay opened its arms to people with a more beautiful face.

Back to six years ago, Tangdao Bay was still a deserted beach with mud at the bottom and weeds on both sides. 2 1 At the beginning of the century, the integration of tourism resources along Qingdao coastal line was accelerated, and the transformation of Tangdao Bay on the side of Binhai Avenue was put on the agenda. The reconstruction of Tangdao Bay has experienced large-scale comprehensive management of dredging and damming and the construction of Tangdao Bay Binhai Park.

In July 2006, the regional tourism planning of Tangdao Bay also passed the evaluation of the evaluation committee. According to the standard of 5A tourist area, the spatial layout of tourism elements is carried out, and Tangdaowan Binhai Park is planned and constructed, which consists of seven functional areas: Binhai Ecological Park, Sports and Leisure Center, Waterfront Square, Public Art Park, Citizen Square, Tianren Park and Wharf Leisure and Entertainment Village. Landscape design highlights the relationship between human beings and the ocean.

On June 30th, 2007, 165438+ laid the foundation stone for "Tangdao Bay Yacht Club". Tangdao Bay Yacht Club Project is located on the south side of Binhai Highway and the east bank of Tangdao Bay. The total area of the project is about 33.47 hectares (about 502 mu), and the above-ground construction area is about 420,000 square meters. The main construction contents determined by urban planning include yacht clubs, five-star resort hotels and their supporting facilities and high-grade international coastal communities.

On June 5438+1October 65438+1October 8, 2009, the groundbreaking ceremony of the Tangdaowan Maritime Carnival Project in the Development Zone was held solemnly, marking the official entry of the first indoor water theme park in China. Tangdaowan Maritime Carnival Project is located in Phoenix Island Tourist Resort, north of Tangdaowan, south of Binhai Avenue, east of Longquan River and west of Chahe River Estuary, facing China Youshi University across the road, with a total area of 524 mu and a total investment of 3.5 billion yuan. The project mainly includes three parts, namely, the "Carnival at Sea" with the theme of water recreation, the "Fisherman's Wharf Pedestrian Commercial Street" with the theme of carnival festivals, and the "Bay Haoting", a coastal international community with high-end housing as the main theme.
