Take the train from Xuzhou Railway Station (not Xuzhou East Railway Station, which is a high-speed rail station). There are 5 trains from 5:30 to 7:30 in the morning, with a fare of 28 yuan, and from 11:00 to 14:00 noon. There are three trains, and it will be after 18:00, and they are often late.

Personally, I think the train is more convenient and comfortable. It takes about 2 and a half hours to Lianyungang and 3 hours to Lianyungang East.

If you want to see mountains, go to Yuwan and Huaguoshan, buy a ticket and go to Lianyungang Station. There are buses to these two places outside the station.

If you want to see the sea, buy Lianyungang East, and then take the bus to Liandao. There are buses at the station.

There are many hotels in Lianyungang. You can book at the chain Motel and Home Inn, with room rates ranging from 180 to 250.

I have never lived in Lianyungang East and cannot provide help.

Tickets for Yuwan are 50, Huaguoshan seems to be 60, Liandao and Suma Bay are 50.
