I stayed at Disneyland Hotel, bought tickets for two days, and only played for one day, but there was a buffet in the evening, so I didn't want to miss the fireworks.

If you stay in the guest rooms and suites of the State Guest Hall, you can see the fireworks display in the hotel, but you can't see it elsewhere.

You can check in that afternoon, then visit the park, return to the hotel to enjoy the buffet, then watch the fireworks show in the hotel and/or enter the park again. Two-day tickets can be entered and exited multiple times (press your finger when entering the park).
