What can a good hotel bring to travel?

Regarding the hotel, some people think that it is just a place to sleep, and it doesn't matter where you live. I used to think so.

In 2006, my wife and I traveled to Huangshan Mountain. The hotel on the mountain costs more than 800 yuan a room, which is really expensive! We have just bought a house and are short of money, so we can't accept spending so much money psychologically. So, I only booked a 60-dollar multi-bed room.

When we arrived at Huangshan Hotel, although we were prepared internally, we were still surprised by so many strangers in a room. It was a bunk room with 10 people. Needless to say, the quilt is very thin and has some suspicious colors. I lifted a corner of the quilt with two fingers, reluctantly got into bed and slept with my clothes on.

Although I am tired from climbing the mountain, I can't sleep. The hard bed board makes me uncomfortable, and the snoring in the room annoys me.

Stay up until 4 o'clock, get up and go to Guangmingding to watch the sunrise. It took nearly 1 hour to get to the place where we watched the sunrise. There were not many people, so we grabbed the front row. There are still 30 minutes before sunrise, and the crowd is gathering more and more. In order to maintain the perfect posture, even if the cold wind in the morning makes us shiver, we dare not move a step.

There is a hotel not far away. After we stood numb, the tourists in the hotel slowly opened the windows, wrapped in quilts and holding steaming cups, leisurely preparing for the sunrise.

The gap between 800 yuan and 60 yuan is really big. I swear, I will never live in such a bad place to save money again!

Later, we transitioned to an economy hotel. The room is small, but clean and independent. In 2009, we went to Yangzhou to play. Because the train was late, we were transferred to a hotel booked in Yangzhou. The front desk told us that the room reservation was cancelled because of overtime. It's 2 o'clock in the morning, and I have no choice but to pay more for the executive suite. When I entered the room, I saw a spacious, bright and comfortable big bed, which brightened my eyes. That night, the next day, I slept soundly, went out to play for a while, and returned to the hotel full of joy.

It turns out that a little more expensive is different.

20 10 August, go to Phuket, Thailand to play. When I arrived at Check in Hotel in Le Di, I was surprised to learn that our swimming pool room was upgraded to a villa room for free. Wow, I'm so happy! Many tourists were scared away because of the demonstration of the red shirts. When the hotel business was bad, they upgraded.

This is our first time living in a villa, and we got a bargain. The joy is beyond words. This unexpected gain has also directly increased our requirements for hotels.

There are more than 10 crocodiles by the lake in front of the hotel. Monkeys can see them at any time. It is said that elephants sometimes take their baby elephants through hotels.

When you go to dinner, you need to call the front desk and ask the security guard to pick it up, just in case. Looking at the stars by the pool at night, I saw a big wild boar with 7 or 8 small wild boars passing by the pool. Let the security guard take us to the lake to find crocodiles, unforgettable experience. It is said that crocodiles sometimes climb to the shore at night, which makes us feel so exciting!

Fourth place. Jet wing lighthouse (Galle)

This is the only hotel without a reservation. The current plan is to find a distinctive hotel, but after seeing several hotels, we are not satisfied. The driver took us to this hotel, which is said to be the best hotel in Galle. When we arrived at the lobby on the second floor, we were immediately shocked by the spectacular scene of rough waves and rock beating, and everyone unanimously decided to live in this house.

I found on the Internet that this hotel, like Heritance Kandalama, was designed by Geoffrey Bawa, a national treasure designer in Sri Lanka.

Then, we flew from Colombo to Maldives to enjoy the life facing the sea and blooming in spring. Sunshine, beach, waves and villas are imaginary paradise.
