Are the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and the University of Southern California (USC) the same school?

UCLA and USC are both located in the beautiful Southern California. UCLA is a major branch of the ten universities in Canada and is public. UCLA students have very high GPAs, are more famous than USC, and are slightly more difficult to get into than USC. Another special feature of UCLA is that it is very strong in sports, which attracts many American students who love sports. However, UCLA's undergraduate student classes are large. If you can't advance in studies, you will have to choose a relatively inferior major.

USC is a private school with excellent students. The classes are small, so it is easier for students to get help from professors, and the students' families are generally relatively wealthy.

I studied at UCLA for a week last year, and the campus was indeed beautiful and grand. But the surrounding environment is not very good.
