Pipa Pavilion and the North Road of Pipa Pavilion
Coordinates of Beijing Road: The entrance of Beijing Road is located on the south side of the new Customs Building, facing the White Swan Hotel. The whole road is basically east-west, connecting Kaihe Road in the east and railway freight station in the west. The total length is about 500 meters. Beijing Road is a marginalized road. Because it is close to the Yangtze River, there is no other forked traffic, and there are fewer and fewer people living in recent years, Beijing Road has always been unknown to Jiujiang people, so that many people will feel strange when they hear this name today, just like I heard this name more than ten years ago. In fact, Beijing Road is an old place name. Before liberation, Beijing was a logistics distribution center. Within the scope of the current foreign trade terminal, there used to be many houses and it was also a lively place. There are four lanes in Beijing Road, among which Chaitan Wharf in Jiujiang is located in the four lanes, and the chief helmsman of Chai controlled by Hubei people also works here. Because the "boss" in the meeting is called "boss", it is also commonly known as the firewood meeting. A cart of firewood and a basket of charcoal burned by Jiujiang people basically came ashore from Wuning and Xiushui Mountain and then supplied to the public. At that time, there were not only firewood fairs, but basically every industry had its own organization. From the present point of view, I wonder if it can be understood that in the old society, these important industries related to people's livelihood were all "unified" by triads. At that time, there were not only docks on Beijing Road, but also frequent logistics due to the transshipment of Nanxun Railway, so it was once as lively as a market: winding paths, two rows of houses, people coming and going, and heavy traffic. Mr. Xiong, who has retired at home, used to be an old resident of Beijing Road. He was born and raised in Sri Lanka until his ancestral home was demolished in 1958. Mr. Xiong's grandfather and father are both railway workers. In his memory, he still holds "leadership positions" such as foreman. Before liberation, the Xiong family not only worked on the railway, but also opened a transfer station-"Yonghe" firm, which mainly engaged in cotton and cowhide. When I arrived at my parents' generation, my business was booming. I not only bought a house and land, but also expanded my business scope and diversified development-I opened a "car freight company" at Ximenkou (near Xingye Building today). After liberation, Mr. Xiong's father began to work honestly on the railway. Due to poor physical strength and no diploma, his life went from bad to worse. When Sha-Da Railway Command Road 1958 was established, Xiong's old house was requisitioned, and all four or five facade houses of Xiong's house were demolished at the price of a 200 yuan. Since then, Mr. Xiong has also left Beijing Road. Mr. Xiong's father was transferred to Shahe. Later, due to the flood, the railway was interrupted and he went to Guangdong to make a living. After two years of wandering outside, he "applied" to be transferred back to Jiujiang. Those days are gray in Mr. Xiong's memory. Due to the change of social situation, my father can no longer earn enough money to support his family. He still remembers that at that time, he went to junior high school in No.2 Middle School and lived on campus. Even the monthly accommodation and meals in 5 yuan can't be paid on time. This kind of life experience has kept Mr. Xiong holding his breath. After the reform and opening up, he started a "small business" very early, only hoping to live a well-fed life. Not only the houses along the river disappeared on Beijing Road, but also the Pipa Pavilion. In the tenth year of Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty (AD 8 15), Bai Juyi, who was really anxious, demanded that the murderer of Prime Minister Wu be severely punished. Somehow, he offended the dignitaries and was demoted to Jiujiang as the "Minister of Armed Forces". Bai Juyi's life in Jiujiang, which has always been leisurely, is not too bitter, but for him who is used to the nightlife in metropolis, Jiangzhou without a foot washing house and a leisure city is really boring. So when he went to the river to see his friends off one night, the sound of the piano made him feel sad. So there was the famous Memoirs of a Geisha-Pipaxing. After Bai Juyi left Xunyang sadly, in order to prosper and develop local cultural tourism, people built a pavilion called Pipa Pavilion in the place where he saw the guests off, which was covered with yellow, white and bamboo. Since then, celebrities and poets have poured in. They "either go to the pavilion to reminisce about the past, think of the Pipa incident, or shed tears of pity for themselves and others", so they left many poems. For example, more than 200 years after Bai Juyi's death, Ouyang Xiu, another well-known scholar with many words, was also dismissed as the county magistrate of Yiling (now Yichang, Hubei) on the charge of "overstepping his post" in Song Renzong for two years (1036). When he went to Yiling to cross the Yangtze River, he went to Pipa Pavilion to pay his respects. Similar experiences made him feel sad about himself and the world, so he wrote, "Lotte once fell in this river, and he sighed and cried." Now I know I'm guilty, Yiling more than three thousand. According to historical records, Pipa Pavilion has been abandoned repeatedly since its completion. The original site was in Songpukou. During the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty, the patrol road of Jiangxi soldiers was relocated in the old stork pond in the east of the city and was soon destroyed. During the Yongzheng period of Qing Dynasty, soldiers patrolled Liu Jun and rebuilt in the former site of Songpukou. Tang Ying, Governor of Jiujiang from Qianlong to Qianlong, rebuilt the Pipa Pavilion, expanded the building, sculpted an easy statue of Baiju, and hung plaques such as "Forget the plane here", "See the guests off in Lotte", "Forget the plane pavilion" and "Don't return to the river". At that time, there were many ancillary buildings of Pipa Pavilion, and tourists were like clouds, which was very popular. After the arrest of Xianfeng in the third year of Qing Dynasty (1853), a fire broke out and Pipa Pavilion disappeared. At the end of the Qing Dynasty, someone built the Xuanhua Palace on the original site and embedded the stone tablet of the ancient Pipa Pavilion in the temple gate, which was destroyed during the Cultural Revolution. 1987, Jiujiang Municipal People's Government also developed cultural tourism for Hui Chong historical sites, and then rebuilt Pipa Pavilion on the east bank of Yangtze River Bridge, which was officially opened to the public on July 1989. Because he lives next to Pipa Pavilion, Mr. Xiong often went to Pipa Pavilion when he was a child. In his impression, Pipa Pavilion is quite big, like a quadrangle, with bungalows and two rows of rooms, surrounded by high walls, about three meters, and a small courtyard in the middle. It is said to be a temple. After liberation, there lived two nuns. In the childhood memory of "Little Bear", the incense in the "temple" was not prosperous, especially before the Cultural Revolution until it was demolished. Apart from being tangible, he remembered that he was still very young at that time, and vaguely heard adults say that they didn't know who had harmed that beautiful "little nun" and made her pregnant with a child. Old nuns can't tolerate it naturally, but they can't make public. So one night, the old nun picked up the door bolt as thick as a forearm, plunged into the bottom of the cupboard and sat on it, with the middle fulcrum being the little nun's stomach. The old nun is like sitting on the seesaw, silly ... That night, at first, I occasionally heard one or two sad voices of the little nun, and then there was no sound. Later I heard that the child was shot down. No one saw the little nun again. She died that night. I don't know where it is buried.
