Code for fire protection design of hotel kitchens
(1) The total storage capacity of the liquid storage tank shall not exceed 5m3. When directly buried near a high-rise building or podium, and the external wall of the building within 4.00m towards the side of the oil tank is a firewall, the fire separation distance can be unlimited.
(2) The volume of the tundish should not be greater than 1.00m3, and it should be located in a separate room with a fire resistance rating not lower than Grade II, and the door of this room should adopt Grade A fire doors.
When high-rise buildings use bottled liquefied petroleum gas as fuel, centralized bottled liquefied petroleum gas rooms shall be set up, and the following specifications shall be met:
(1) Bottled LPG rooms with total LPG reserves not exceeding 1.00m3 can be built near the podium.
(2) The bottled liquefied petroleum gas room with total reserves greater than 1.00m3 but not greater than 3.00m3 should be built independently, and the fire protection distance from the high-rise building and podium should not be less than 0m. ..
(3) Automatic emergency cut-off valve shall be set on the main air inlet pipeline and the main air outlet pipeline.
(4) A scanning device for combustible gas concentration shall be provided.
(5) The electrical design shall be carried out in accordance with the current national standard Code for Design of Electrical Installations in Explosive and Fire Dangerous Environments.
(6) Other requirements shall be implemented according to the current national standard "Code for Fire Protection Design of Buildings".
According to the above requirements, the following design details should also be considered:
(1) The gas room, gas tank and fuel tank are designed to be far away from the fire source and separated by a firewall.
(2) The design of gas transmission and oil pipeline should adopt metal pipes and fittings that meet the requirements of fire control, and their direction should be far away from the heat source and should not pass through the heat source. Flange joints, fittings and valves should meet the fire protection requirements, ensure that the seal is leak-free and facilitate inspection and maintenance.
(3) The fuel warehouse should be equipped with fire alarm facilities, and explosion-proof lighting should be installed in the warehouse. Switches and sockets should be located outside the warehouse to prevent electrical ignition, so that there is no open flame in the warehouse.
(4) The architectural design of the gas room should be closed by a firewall, and the ventilation device should be designed. Explosion-proof ventilation equipment should be used in the air supply and exhaust system. When the blower is located in a separate ventilation room and the air drying pipe has a check valve, ordinary ventilation equipment can be used. Prevent gas leakage, overflow, explosion and fire.
