Xiamen Airlines is a domestic joint venture airline and the first joint venture. Established on July 25th, 1984, the base is located in Xiamen Gao Qi International Airport. Xiamen Airlines Maintenance Department is approved by the civil aviation airworthiness management department, and can engage in C8 inspection of B757 aircraft, C4 inspection and intermediate inspection of B737/B757 aircraft, route maintenance of B737/B757 aircraft, regular maintenance at levels below C inspection (inclusive), engine replacement, JT8D- 17 engine thermal inspection, brake parts repair, APU thermal inspection and nondestructive inspection.

Xiamen Airlines has been operating independently since its establishment, with its own carrier code, and is a full member of the International Air Transport Association.
