1, Xie Peizhu

There is a large sandbar in the Hanjiang River north of Laolongxun in Xiangyang City. The sandbars are lush, and full of green is very beautiful. People call him' Xie'.

According to legend, there was a gifted scholar named Zheng Jiaofu in Han Dynasty who once visited Xiangyang and met a fairy on this sandbar. They fell in love at first sight. The fairy took off her orb and gave it to Zheng Jiaofu to show her love for Zheng. This is the story of Xie.

2. Aftersound Rock

Nanzhang County, Jin Jian Ping, Jingshan, Nantiao, Xunjian Town. There is a natural cave on the edge of the mountain shaded by sunlight, which is engraved with three Chinese characters "yuyinyan". One day, a Taoist priest passed by and was very sympathetic when he saw Xiangyang people repairing dikes. So the Taoist priest took off his sandals, untied the rope, tied one end to Wanshan waist, and nailed the other end to the wall. People filled the embankment along the straw rope and stopped the flood from now on.

It turns out that this Taoist priest is the god of the town river, and the straw rope he dismantled is an old dragon. Later, people called this embankment the Old Dragon Embankment. People built a temple on the levee to worship the Dragon King, which is the Old Dragon Temple.
