A story about poetry

1. "A bird is lighter"

In the Northern Song Dynasty, there was a Chen Sheren in Bianjing who happened to get an old edition of Du Fu's poems. He was a treasure. However, due to the poor preservation of this book, the words in many poems have fallen off. Once, when Mr. Chen read Poems to Send a Captain Cai, he found that there was a word missing after the word "bird" in the sentence "one bird is light, one gun is urgent for thousands of people to call". After careful consideration, he couldn't tell what it was.

One day, when he was talking about poetry with some poetry friends, he raised this question, hoping that everyone could make up the most appropriate word. Someone wrote the word "disease", which is considered to be the best expression of Cai's quick and brisk vertical jump. Some people think it is not good, because the pronunciation and meaning of the word "disease" in the previous sentence and the word "urgency" in the next sentence are too close, which seems a bit repetitive. Others wrote the word "degree", but Chen Sheren thought that the word "degree" was too blunt to show the characteristics of being as light as a bird. Some people even suggested using the words "health", "promotion" and "health", but everyone was not satisfied.

Later, Mr. Chen found a relatively complete collection of Du Fu's poems elsewhere and turned to Poems to Send Cai. The original sentence was "A bird is lighter". The word "Guo" was used to describe Captain Cai's jumping high and fast, like a bird flying around in front of his eyes, which was really appropriate.

2. The branches of red apricots are in spring.

There is a saying in Song Qi's "Jade House Spring, Better Spring in Dongcheng" in Song Dynasty: "Man Chun, the branch of red apricot". Later critics admired the word "Noisy". Liu Tiren's "Seven Annotations on the Class" said: "The branches of red apricots are noisy in spring, and the word" Noisy "is unparalleled throughout the ages." Because the word "Noisy" vividly expresses the vivid scenery of spring, evokes readers' infinite reverie, that is, what is the meaning of spring with red apricot branches, and finally makes people think of the full meaning of spring from a small perspective. Thereby highlighting the realm of the whole word. Therefore, in modern times, Wang Guowei commented on this word in "The Thorn on Earth": "There is a word' noisy', and the realm is all out."

3. The original sentence of Lu Xun's poem: Seeing peers become new ghosts, angry knives look for small poems.

Change sentence: forbear to see peers become new ghosts, and look for swords and poems in anger.

This is a poem written by Mr. Lu Xun in memory of the young revolutionaries. The author changed the word "eye" to "forbearance" and wrote repressed resentment. Changing "edge" into "cluster" strengthens the harsh white terror and struggle environment in degree and atmosphere.

4. There is a saying in Zhang Xian's "Fairy": "Clouds break the moon and take a shadow."

The word "Nong" came out completely, and the author Zhang Xian grasped the word "Nong" to emphasize its role in creating artistic conception, thus making the whole sentence vivid, lively and fresh, melting feelings into it and personifying the scenery, thus creating an aesthetic realm with ambiguous artistic conception and blending scenes. It has reached the highest level of word refinement, that is, "warning with one word can make the whole sentence strange" and "doing it in one word can make the realm come out".

5. In the Tang Dynasty, Ren Fan spent the night at Jinjinfeng Temple in Taizhou, and wrote a poem on the wall of the temple, "The new autumn is extremely cool, and the crane turns to truffle and undresses. The front peak reflects a river, and the monk opens a green bamboo building. " After walking dozens of miles, he felt that "half a river" was more appropriate and realistic than "one river". I hurried back to the temple to revise it, but when I got there, I found that someone had changed the word "one" to "half".
