Venue of 2009 Kaohsiung World Games

This World Games will be held in 23 venues in Kaohsiung County. Among them, the main venue for the opening and closing ceremonies of the 2009 World Games, designed by the famous Japanese architect toyo ito, is the world's first "open" modern stadium.

Most of the venues are in Kaohsiung City, and there are only three venues in Kaohsiung County, namely, the Kaohsiung County Gymnasium in Fengshan City, the Clarification Lake in Niaosong Township, and the Yangming skating rink of Yishou University in Dashu Township.

Kaohsiung Modern Gymnasium: Gymnastics, Sports and Dance

International swimming pool: web swimming, water rescue

Kaohsiung Stadium: Faust Ball

Zhongzheng Martial Arts Hall: billiards, squash with short handle and squash.

Gymnasium of Kaohsiung Normal University: Combination Ball and Skillful Fixed Ball
