What private travel routes are recommended in northern Shaanxi?

Let me answer this question! I have two recommended routes in northern Shaanxi~

Line A: Ordos-Shenmu-Fugu Small Ring Line

The biggest feature of this route is the cross-cultural area and many cultural attractions. Northern Shaanxi is located at the junction of the Central Plains Dynasty and the grassland civilization. In order to defend against the Xiongnu's southward march, the Ming Dynasty built a number of ancient cities here, including the old city of Fugu on the edge of the Yellow River. The location of Fugu Old Town is very special. Below the city wall is the Yellow River. After the county's functional departments moved out of the old city, the old city became even more lonely. There are many cliff stone carvings on the walls of the old city, which are of great calligraphy value. A few dozen minutes' drive from Fugu is Shenmu, a county below Yulin. Shenmu has a typical loess high-slope landform in northern Shaanxi, although many cave dwellings can be seen everywhere. There are two recommended places in Shenmu. One is the Shenmu Museum, which comprehensively introduces local customs, and the other is Erlang Mountain. Erlang Mountain is one kilometer away from the county seat, and several temples have been built on the narrow passages on the ridge. Erlang Mountain is very steep and has always been known as Little North China. It is very playable. Standing on the top of the mountain, you can overlook Shenmu County. It is highly recommended that Erlang Mountain is free of charge.

Ordos is an hour's drive from Shenmu. It belongs to Inner Mongolia and is different from northern Shaanxi in every aspect. Ordos is located in the Tibetan area on the Inner Mongolia Plateau. There are many Tibetan Buddhist temples, the largest of which is the Ulan Living Buddha Palace, where the 12th Ulan Living Buddha lived and studied. The architecture of the Living Buddha Palace includes the architectural features of Tibetan, Mongolian and Han Dynasties. The temple is magnificent and there is a museum in the temple. Not far from the Living Buddha Palace, there is a prince's palace, which is the most complete Qing Dynasty prince's palace in western Inner Mongolia. No matter it is the Prince's Palace or the Living Buddha Palace, no tickets are required.

Line B: Suide-Mizhi-Jingbian. The biggest feature of this route is the natural scenery. There is a local proverb in Suide and Mizhi, "Mizhi's mother-in-law, Suide's Han". The men and women in Mizhi and Suide are very generous in character, which has a lot to do with the geographical environment here. The northern Shaanxi area is full of high loess slopes with relatively few green plants. The bitter land naturally creates the sexy nature of the people here. Local dwellings are also adapted to local conditions, with cave dwellings dug out according to the high loess slopes to make them warm in winter and cool in summer. Both Suide and Mizhi have manors built by local nobles. There are rows of cave dwellings scattered on a hillside.

In Jingbian County, northern Shaanxi, there is a Grand Canyon that is very similar to the Wave Valley in Utah, USA. The locals also named it Wave Valley. It is located 22 kilometers southeast of Jingbian County. Yanjia Village in Longzhou Township. Tourism is being developed here and tickets are not currently charged.
