At the same time, consumers can take the initiative to ask the restaurant to provide free or paid tableware before eating, so as to avoid disputes caused by ignoring the prompt signs of paid tableware during eating.

According to the relevant legal person, according to the contract law, customers go to the hotel for consumption, which constitutes a service contract relationship with the hotel. The main contractual obligation of the hotel is to provide catering products and services, and it is the customer's right to enjoy services, including the use of sterilized tableware and paper towels. Therefore, the provision of tableware is a part of the contractual obligation of the hotel, and it is also an accompanying contractual obligation. Unless otherwise specified, the catering fee must include the tableware fee. If the hotel forcibly collects it separately, consumers can complain to the Consumers Association.

If catering enterprises can ensure that their tableware is clean and hygienic, there is no need to use disposable sterilized tableware. If the tableware hygiene cannot be guaranteed, the disinfection cost should be borne by the catering enterprises themselves and should not be passed on to consumers.
