The more traditional Goodwood Art Festival is, the sexier it is. Goodwood Art Festival is a new summer art festival, which combines music, fashion, art and design to celebrate the cutting-edge fashion styles of Britain in the 1940s, 1950s, 1960s, 1970s and 1980s. The Goodwood Retro Art Festival will show people some famous bands, DJs, collectors, retro fashions of all ages, and some contemporary bands and brands inspired by Britain's rich creative traditions. The idea of holding such an art festival originated from three artists: Geraldine Hemingway, Wayne Hemingway and Rod March.

Goodwood Retro is an annual celebration dominated by music and fashion, celebrating the coolness of British creativity in the 1940s, 1950s, 1960s, 1970s and 1980s. Every decade, there are leading DJ's, bands, collectors, antique clothing and vinyl suppliers, as well as contemporary bands and brands inspired by Britain's rich creative and cultural heritage.

As a new festival in Britain, Goodwood Art Festival explores music, design and cultural pedigree, and explores their position in our lives. Take Goodwood's old England as a new annual festival.
