Overseas residents (including those who hold China passports but live abroad or have the right of abode abroad) do not need to apply for Hong Kong and Macao passes, but can directly apply for relevant permits with their passports (including China passports).

2. Work, study and immigration: apply for a visa with a passport at the Hong Kong Immigration Department. Generally speaking, companies and schools will help you, and you don't need to apply for a stay endorsement later.
